Job description

We're seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a leading engineering and design team supporting key Defence projects.

In this newly created position, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing project documentation across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency to support project delivery success.


THE ROLE -

  • Monday - Friday, 38 Hours PW
  • $43PH + Super
  • Immediate 6 Month contract, possibility of extension.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES -

  • Manage large volumes of incoming and outgoing project documentation.

  • Maintain document registers, version control, and accurate record tracking.

  • Coordinate documentation across systems such as SharePoint and Aconex.

  • Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Commercial teams to gather all required artefacts.

  • Prepare and deliver Practical Completion documentation packages.

  • Support project teams to follow document control procedures and maintain compliance.

  • Assist with general project reporting and administrative tasks.

THE PERSON -

  • 3-5 years' experience in document control within engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination ability.

  • Proficiency with SharePoint, Aconex, or similar document management systems.

  • A team-focused mindset with initiative and reliability.

  • You're a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced project environments. You take pride in your accuracy and can manage competing priorities while keeping documentation organised and compliant.

  • Australian Citizen

  • Police Check required prior to commencement
