Labourer - Short Term Contract

Location: Beresfield, NSW

Pay Rate: $33.38 per hour

Contract Dates: From 22nd December to 5th January (excluding public holidays)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Labourer to join our warehouse team on a short‑term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with product handling, preparation, and general warehouse support in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products from inventory based on order slips
• Safely pack products for shipping, ensuring proper packaging to avoid damage
• Label packages correctly with shipping information and documentation
• Assist in organising and maintaining warehouse inventory
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Support stocktaking and inventory checks as required
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided)
• Collaborate with team members to ensure orders are completed efficiently
• Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to the Warehouse Supervisor

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or labouring role preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
• Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions
• Basic computer skills for order processing (experience with warehouse systems is a plus)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
