Production Operators - Concrete Manufacturing - Thornton, NSW

A long‑term opportunity is available for multiple reliable and physically capable Production Operators to join a leading concrete manufacturing facility. These roles offer stable Monday-Friday work, overtime opportunities, and a genuine pathway from temporary to permanent employment.

Key Details:

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm, Temp to Perm opportunity
  • Pre‑start: Site walkthrough and meet‑and‑greet
  • Testing: Drug and alcohol testing prior to commencement
  • Transport: Own vehicle required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily pre‑start checks on equipment and work areas.
  • Prepare tools and materials including ladders, stencils, paint, and trowels.
  • Assist with moving pipes, reinforcement cages, and materials using safe manual handling techniques.
  • Open moulds, remove finished pipes, and prepare moulds for the next production cycle.
  • Monitor product quality and report any issues.
  • Apply labels and complete finishing tasks such as patching and cleaning pipes.
  • Clean and store tools and equipment after use.
  • Maintain a clean and safe production environment.
  • Assist with general maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and report defects.
  • Be available for additional hours, including weekends and public holidays, when required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in manufacturing, construction, civil, or similar hands‑on environments (preferred).
  • Strong commitment to safety and housekeeping.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual labour.
