Manpower are supporting a leading provider who is devoted to worker's well being whom require a Clinical Manager for their Newcastle location.

Job Overview


Reporting to the CEO, the clinical manager will oversee the clinical operations and counselling services provided by our clients Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). This position is maintaining regular supervision sessions with the counsellors, identifying and responding to gaps in service deliver and need for additional training for the ream, ensuring that high quality support is provided within the EAP framework and guidelines, and working with EAP services to promote and support staff across our client and the broader community along with providing counselling to R+EAP clients where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Counsellors to meet and exceed clinical standards.
  • Provide Counsellor clinical supervision according to registering body guidelines.
  • Promote and provide Counsellor training.
  • Maintaining and developing clinical policies and procedures

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor or higher degree in Counselling
  • Demonstrated experience providing supervision to clinical staff.
  • Understanding of EAP setting
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand complex workplace issues.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing strong working relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills appropriate to establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and wider community.
  • Clear understanding of, and personal commitment to, the purpose and values of our client
