Our client
Our client is a growing business within the health care sector. Due to expanding they now require a health and safety professional to join their passionate team of three. This role offers a flexible base location and multiple site responsibility (Head office is based in the south eastern suburbs)
Supporting front line operations this role will have a mixture of hands on and administration tasks. To start with this role will have a focus of Injury management and return to work but will later turn into a proactive HSE role.
In this role you will be educating and partnering with all levels of stakeholders to understand the risks in their business and mitigate them.
Your Next Role
Reporting to the HSE manager you will be assisting across all aspects of safety for this particular site to drive a strong safety culture.
About You
- Experience in a Safety/HSE Advisory role within a similar environment is ideal. It would be rare to build the level of expertise required without having 5+ solid years' experience in Health and Safety
- Experience with risk assessments / incident investigations / WHS Admin/ Auditing equipment / WHS training
- The confidence, communication and technical expertise to advise on all aspects of HSE
- Experience and maturity to work in an autonomous role
- Specialist HSE knowledge, or the ability to acquire specialist knowledge
- Experience with Injury management and Return to work is a MUST!
- Certificate IV in WHS/OHS or equivalent qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- Current Driver's License.
