The Company

Our client is a world class company, with operations across various continents. They operate in the resources sector. They have engaged Safesearch to recruit a 12-month Fixed Term HSE Systems and Reporting Advisor.

The Opportunity

A pivotal role within the broader HSE team is that of the HSE Systems and Reporting Advisor. This is a role that reports into the "Head of" role, supporting the important flow of information through the company, consolidating and building it into "reporting" functionality.

This is supported by a continuous improvement framework, where systems and processes are always looking to be updated. As part of a small corporate HSE function, you will support operational locations with technical advice

You will provide Group and site support for continuous improvement in SHE systems, processes and performance including greater simplification and automation. The role provides support on quality assurance and reporting, so experience in SHE related fields in the resources sector will be highly regarded.

This role will also be responsible to lead and manage some specific group-wide requirements for Health and Safety and will be supported to build working knowledge in this space. You will get experience working across locations and cultures in remote locations.

The Person

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to build trusting relationships, develop evidence-based recommendations, influence stakeholders and communicate effectively. You will have a solid background in Health and Safety, and in particular Safety Systems and Reporting. This will include sharing information and communication across various platforms and software, including MS Excel/Power BI etc.

Critical to success will be your capacity to demonstrate agility, leadership and stakeholder management skills in a high risk profile global business.
