About the Company
Our client, a leading global supplier of integrated food processing and packaging solutions, is seeking Sheet Metal Fabricator with TIG welding experience to join their dynamic team.
Position: TIG Welder Fabricator
Location: Boronia 3155
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 plus Superannuation
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:36 PM
This position will include:
- Material is typically 1.2 to 1.6mm thick.
- Installing and fabricating thin metal sheets used in a variety of applications
- Selecting, cleaning and preparing
- Cutting marked out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
- Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
- Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instrument
- Assembling and joining metal sections using TIG Welding techniques
- Conducting quality checks upon post job completion

About you
To be successful as the new Metal Fabricator, you will:
- Experience with dedicate material is from 1.2 to 1.6mm thickness.
- Dedication to fitness and welding excellence
- Overseas experience or Australian qualification with full working rights
- Previous experience in TIG welding and metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to standard work practices
