We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join our clients based in Yatala, QLD. This position is a Temp to Perm role for the right candidate.

Location: Yatala, QLD 4207

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm

Salary Ranges: $65,000 to $75,000 plus Super

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a great communicator, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment. They should possess a willingness to delegate responsibility, work collaboratively, and coach others. Reporting to the General Manager and Logistics Manager, this role involves interaction with stakeholders and requires someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and strong organizational, administrative, and some marketing skills.

Duties:

  • Manage daily business operations such as orders, production orders, complaints (excluding customer complaints), intercompany shipments, imports, exports, and crisis management.
  • Process customer orders and returns, prioritizing picking and packing of customer orders.
  • Inspect returned stock and collate credit information.
  • Maintain inventory integrity and process/resolve customer inquiries related to outbound deliveries.
  • Support and collaborate with the Sunshine Coast branch.
  • Liaise with freight carriers and investigate delivery errors.
  • Coordinate the dispatch and delivery of outbound local and interstate deliveries.
  • Process stock transport orders and supplier orders.
  • Maintain supplier returns summary information for the Purchasing/Inventory Department.
  • Liaise with Purchasing/Inventory Department on stock-related matters.
  • Manage inventory, minimize damaged stock, and maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
  • Develop and support OH&S requirements.
  • Document and review critical processes, continuously developing team capability.
  • Act as a liaison between Purchasing, Sales, Accounting, Service, Warehouse, Product Management, IT, and other Supply Chain organizations.
  • Support warehouse teams nationwide with experience and advice.
