We are currently seeking a few Warehouse Team Leaders to join our client based in Truganina, VIC.
Be the pioneering member of staff to operate within this newly established warehouse.
This position is a 3 months Max term to Perm role for the right candidate.

Location in Truganina, VIC 3029

Max Term/Perm Rate - $34.24/hr + Leave + Super (Increase to $35.27/hr after 1st July 2024)
Casual Rate - 42.80/hr ( Alternatively, you can start as a casual and transition to Perm after 3 mths if you are the right candidate.)

Monday to Friday
Day shift - 6am to 2pm | $34.34/hr

Afternoon shift - 2pm to 10pm | $39.38/hr

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment. They must be willing to delegate responsibilities, work collaboratively, and coach team members. A positive attitude, a keenness to learn, and strong organisational and administrative skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Duties:

  • Report to the Warehouse Manager and Site Supervisor
  • Supervise 20 to 40 operators
  • Manage daily operations including orders, inter-company shipments, inbound and outbound tasks
  • Maintain inventory integrity and coordinate dispatch and delivery
  • Process stock transport orders and supplier orders
  • Ensure a clean and tidy working environment and support OH&S requirements
  • Develop team capability and document critical processes
  • Provide support and expertise to warehouse teams

    To be successful:
  • Previous warehouse experience in picking and packing
  • Forklift license
  • Understanding of 3PL operations
  • Leadership experience with the ability to lead and direct operators
  • Adaptability to constant changes and ability to lead the team through them
  • Ability to handle pressure in a new site environment and contribute to rapid team growth
  • Long-term career aspirations and commitment to company advancement
