Our Federal Agency client is seeking a a Customer Support Officer within their contact centre team. The ideal candidate should indicate previous experience in an environment dealing with distressed callers and demonstrate the skill set required in managing sensitive matters for escalation and resolution.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience dealing with distressed customers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple competing tasks.
  • Requirement to obtain and maintain relevant national police check and security clearance in which Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.



About the Role

  • Managing and resolving inbound consumer queries.
  • Mailbox management, case management and coordination of tasks to resolve complex enquiries.
  • Co-ordinate and follow up tasks assigned to other teams within the Agency and partner organisations.
  • Undertaking to address complex issues/complaints in consultation with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Create, document and review procedures and other artefacts used by the Information Office.
  • Prepare reports in relation to team tasks and outcomes.



Desirable experience

  • Experience working within a complex business service delivery environment.
  • Research skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of clinical healthcare is desirable.
