Manpower is actively engaged with a State Government department that is now looking for a Digital Manager responsible for managing the Rural and Regional Victoria division of the clients online activities, including the Regional Development Victoria website, Earth Resources website, Forestry Website, Game Hunting website and other campaign websites as required.

This is 2-month VPS 6 role and will commence ASAP.

What to Expect:

  • Manage digital projects and platforms, including Regional Development Victoria, Earth Resources, Foresty, and Game Hunting. Oversee content generation for web and publication requirements and conduct quality assurance checks.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal clients, ensuring stakeholder needs are balanced with digital standards and technology capabilities. Manage stakeholder relationships and work effectively across teams.
  • Review and evaluate digital content and services against external trends, whole-of-Victorian Government standards and best practice guidelines and identify and implement improvements in the management and effectiveness of digital content, service delivery and governance.
  • Provide proactive, strategic digital advice to identify and manage issues, risks and opportunities related to the department's digital presence and strategy.
  • Provide strategic advice and leadership to contribute to reports, strategies, guidelines and procedures, and best practice standards for digital services and content production.
  • Contribute expertise, build useful networks and look for opportunities to collaborate or create connections between people, projects and or initiatives.

About you:

  • Working autonomously, provide experience in managing digital projects, including the ability to set clearly defined objectives and priorities, plan and manage schedules and workload, reviewing, prioritising and adjusting as required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal), including content production for web, and experience leading and implementing stakeholder engagement and change strategies in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Expertise in information architecture, user experience and interaction design, content strategy, development and management, performance measurement/analytics and compliance with digital standards.
  • Proven ability to actively and collaboratively contribute to high-performing teams, and to constantly seek ways to improve culture and performance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of web content management systems, digital services and tools, working experience in digital communications, production, operations and processes is essential.
  • A relevant tertiary degree or industry recognised qualification or certification in digital/social media, agile/SCRUM, UX (or similar) would be well regarded.
  • Experience working in enterprise level Content Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of and experience working in government would be desirable.
