The Organisation:

Our Client is an Australian IT consulting firm specialising in cyber-security, cloud, data storage, compliance & information management with staff located in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, and Hobart.

As a result driven organisation this client provides great flexibility to ensure work / life balance - results count, not going through the motions 9-5.

With a no-blame culture and full product training, you will start by shadowing senior staff to ensure you are confident with solutions and demo environments.

The Opportunity:

Working with some of the best technology companies from Silicon Valley, this client is searching for a new motivated and curious sales professional to join the team.

The role is full time & predominately focused on identifying opportunity and positioning cloud-based data services from strategic global technology vendors. You will be working alongside and have the support of senior sales and technical professionals.

With the right attitude and aptitude, you will develop your skills, learn from some of the best, have fun and make good money along the way.

Key responsibilities:

* Building and managing a sales pipeline

* Maintaining accurate and up to date pipeline information within our CRM platform

* Achieving (or smashing) KPI's and sales targets

* Converting inbound inquiries and leads into sales opportunities

* New customer acquisition predominantly via outbound calling and other channels

* Nurturing, demonstrating, servicing, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities

About you:

- Ideally 2-6 years experience (not necessarily in enterprise IT)

- A self-starter and team player mindset

- Disciplined and methodical in sales approach and hungry to succeed.
