In line with their ongoing growth and operational goals, they are currently looking to hire a talented Program Scheduler. The Program Scheduler is responsible for adhering to the Earned Value Management System processes and management directives to ensure the timely and accurate monitoring, reporting and performance measurement of project schedule, cost and scope through the project execution lifecycle.

The Role

You, as the Program Scheduler, will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation towards its objectives, contributing significantly to its continuous growth and resounding success. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:-

  • Prepare and provide project schedule data, reports, and cost support to Project Managers and Cost Account Managers, including monthly Earned Value Variance Analysis Reports.
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with schedule deliverables through coordination with Contracts team.
  • Develop and maintain reliable, resource-loaded schedules for meaningful critical path analysis.
  • Update and assist in analysing project variances using software tools like OPP, MS Project, and Cobra.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Acumen toolset.
  • Support contract changes, new business capture, and stakeholder reporting with integrated program planning products.
  • Maintain and adjust Project Management Baselines as needed.
  • Assist in providing cost and schedule data to Finance and Commercial teams.
  • Participate in Customer meetings and directed schedule reviews.
  • Manage and update master schedule status.
  • Provide project overview, critical path insights, and pricing milestone information.
  • Adhere to organisational policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary education or equivalent experience (preferably in Engineering, Project Management, Finance, or Commercial fields).
  • Proactive approach, adept at issue identification, relationship-building, and achieving objectives.
  • Project administration experience with accounting and budgeting knowledge.
  • Strong grasp of scheduling, EVM principles, and customer liaison experience.
  • Advanced computing skills including Microsoft Office, Open Plan Professional, and Cobra.
  • Exceptional planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, both autonomously and as a team player.
  • Self-motivated, adept at multitasking, and managing competing priorities.
  • Innovative problem-solver with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining relationships across all levels.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning in a dynamic environment.
