QA and WHS Compliance Manager

Our client is one of Australia's largest manufacturers and supplier of precast concrete swimming pools organisation. We are currently looking for an experience QA and Compliance Manager, to join their team located in the north side of Brisbane.

The Opportunity

Working with an energetic, ambitious, and passionate team, the Quality, Safety and Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the products and development processes, within pre-cast concrete finishing facility.

This role will combine your systems and procedural knowledge with hands-on activity. You will personally stamp and make your mark on the products every day ensuring our high standard is maintained and improved.

The Role:

  • Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability before delivery.

  • Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products

  • Train, motivate and coach employees to ensure that standards are met

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organisational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.

  • Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits, investigating customer complaints

  • collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods

The Person:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in Quality Management Systems and quality documentation

  • Previous concrete products, pre-casting, general manufacturing or building products experience will be an advantage.

  • Prior experience in setting up and maintaining technical product information

  • Prior experience in conducting internal audits and managing third-party audits and inspections

  • Experience in implementing systems and training teams to standard operating procedures (SOP's)

  • ISO 9001 system and process experiences

  • Ability to analyse data and create and review processes

  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
