One of our clients is looking for a Communication Officer to join their team on a 12 months contract role. In the role of Communications Support Officer, you will provide professional, efficient and effective communications support that assists the Communications Team to achieve its outcomes and priorities. This is a fast-paced administrative position that manages a high volume of incoming executive correspondence and urgent requests requiring triage, tracking and processing.
This role reports to the Principal Communications Advisor.
Accountabilities include:
- Monitor, manage and triage the Communications Inbox for incoming executive correspondence and urgent requests for action
- Allocate executive correspondence and urgent requests to the applicable action officer
- Administer SharePoint system to track executive correspondence and urgent requests
- Report on executive correspondence and urgent requests
- Media monitoring activities
- Training new starters and assisting with onboarding requirements
- Other general administrative functions as required
