The Role

This is a 6 month contract role where you will perform the pivotal role of the Data Analyst. You will collaborate with the demand planning team to manage forecasts within the Demand Planning system, ultimately elevating the forecasting accuracy to new heights. The role focuses around the oversight of statistical forecasts and then through collaborative efforts with our sales, marketing and supply chain teams, you will actively respond to shifts in demand and supply dynamics. As the Data Analyst / Demand Planner you will be responsible for;-

  • Construct intricate PowerBI reports connected to Enterprise data systems to effectively distil data into actionable insights
  • Utilise statistical forecasts to respond to shifts in demand and supply dynamics
  • Delve into sales data to reveal emerging trends and provide actionable insights for strategic interventions
  • Construct PowerBI reports to replace and automate existing Excel models
  • Effectively business partner and liaise with sales, marketing and supply chain teams
  • Establish and maintain healthy stakeholder relationships

About You

The Data Analyst will be someone who seeks continuous improvement and innovation. You operate with a view to progress the business by acting reasonably and efficiently when dealing with decision making. It's imperative that alongside developed technical ability you also possess strong ability to communicate effectively to reports, peers and colleagues. You will be able to engage stakeholders at all levels and demonstrated a strong consulting acumen. You will have a track record in building and leading successful teams and delivering results on time and accurately. A flexible, proactive and self-starter attitude will be essential. Along with the ability to work to deadlines you will have a passion for driving best practice and enjoy streamlining processes.

Skills and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following:

  • 2 years of experience working in PowerBI data analysis or 3 years experience working with PowerBI and demand planning
  • Able to conduct data analysis and create a PowerBI report/dashboard
  • Highly involved in the supply chain industry
  • Demand planning experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
  • Can do attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Great communication & attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and eager to learn
  • Ability to build sound relationships with stakeholders and business partnering experience based on trust
